Contact Check First support
Email Education Host support at nick@educationhost.co.uk. To help identify the issue, include the Check First app version, your iOS version and, for billing issues, the non-sensitive subscription status reference shown in Check First Settings.
Never send passwords, Sign in with Apple tokens, full suspicious messages, screenshots containing personal information, Safe Phrases or payment-card information. Describe the issue without including sensitive account or message content.
Troubleshoot checks and connectivity
Check First needs an internet connection to analyse submitted content. If a check does not complete, confirm that the iPhone is online, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data if appropriate, then try the request again.
If the problem continues, close and reopen Check First, check for an app update and an iOS update, then email support with the app version, iOS version and the wording of any non-sensitive error message. Do not email the content you were trying to check.
Troubleshoot Sign in with Apple
Sign in with Apple is optional and is used for account-backed Family features. If sign-in does not complete, confirm the iPhone is online, make sure you are signed in to your Apple Account on the device, reopen Check First and try again.
If it still fails, contact support with the app version, iOS version and non-sensitive error wording. Never send a Sign in with Apple token or password.
Restore Check First Premium
Open Check First Settings and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure the iPhone is signed in with the same Apple Account that purchased Check First Premium, then allow the restore to complete.
Restoring a purchase does not create a new charge. If the entitlement still does not appear, email support with the non-sensitive subscription status reference from Check First Settings. Do not send payment-card details or a full App Store receipt unless Apple specifically asks for it in Apple’s own support flow.
Manage or cancel Check First Premium
In Check First, open Settings and choose Manage Subscription to open Apple’s subscription management interface. You can also open iPhone Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then choose Check First.
Check First Premium is billed by Apple. Education Host cannot directly cancel an Apple subscription or refund an App Store transaction. Deleting your Check First account does not cancel the associated Apple subscription.
Privacy export and account deletion
Open Check First Settings to use the in-app privacy export and account deletion controls. A privacy export does not include Safe Phrases as plaintext.
Before deleting an account, remember that account deletion is separate from App Store billing. If Check First Premium is active, cancel it through Apple if you do not want it to renew.
